The hard times in life gives us incredible spiritual stamina – a stamina that is beneficial for equipping us for the next life struggle we deal with. The only way to build character is through enduring these hard times.

I pray that from His glorious, unlimited resources He will empower you with inner strength through His Spirit. Then Christ will make His home in your hearts as you trust in Him. Your roots will grow down into God's love and keep you strong. And may you have the power to understand, as all God's people should, how wide, how long, how high, and how deep His love is. May you experience the love of Christ, though it is too great to understand fully. Then you will be made complete with all fullness of life and power that comes from God.

God loves you. And the beautiful thing about God's love is that we don't need to understand it or analyse the fact that it's bigger than we could ever hope or imagine. We just need to enjoy it.

All praise to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. God is our merciful Father and the source of all comfort. He comforts us in all our troubles so that we can comfort others. When they are troubled, we will be able to give them the same comfort God has given us. For the more we suffer for Christ, the more God will shower us with His comfort through Christ.
