Are you in pursuit of true worth?
After Jesus was born in Bethlehem in Judea, during the time of King Herod, Magi from the east came to Jerusalem and asked, 'Where is the one who has been born king of the Jews? We saw his star when it rose and have come to worship him.' - Matthew 2:1-2 NASB
In the narrative of Matthew 2:1-2, the Magi's journey guided by a star is a profound symbol of pursuit.
This journey was fueled by a singular desire – to find Jesus, the newborn King. The Magi recognised the immense worth and beauty in Jesus, something so compelling that it drew them across vast distances, driven by faith and a deep sense of purpose.
Today, this journey mirrors our own pursuit of what is truly beautiful and worthy in our lives. In a world often cluttered with fleeting attractions and temporary fulfillments, the story of the Magi invites us to focus our pursuit on Jesus, the epitome of eternal worth and profound beauty.
